Hoje eu vi um menino
catando numa lata de lixo
um pedaço duro de pão.
Meu olhar úmido
de lata meu coração
e a mão do pequeno
me revolvendo por dentro
me provocando a náusea
da fome e suas causas.
Tive ímpeto da avançar
sobre o serzinho rabugento
e arrancar-lhe dos dedos
aquele resto sujo da minha indignidade!
